Bank of Scotland Branch in Cupar
Bank of Scotland and Barclays need to rethink plans to close branches in Cupar, Falkland and St Andrews

Save our local bank branches!

North East Fife Liberal Democrats are calling on Bank of Scotland and Barclays to reverse their plans to shut branches in Cupar, Falkland and St Andrews. Barclays have confirmed their St Andrews branch is due to close in September. On the same day, Bank of Scotland announced their branch in Cupar is due to close in October, and Falkland in December. These branches are at the heart of their communities. Many rely on them, especially local businesses, those who need access to cash, and those without internet banking. Losing them will have a huge impact. It will leave Falkland without a bank, and Cupar with only one building society. Show your support for keeping the banks open by signing our petition.
