Scrap the SNP Council Tax bombshell!

Many North East Fife residents have been hit by the cost of living crisis. Many local people are struggling with ever increasing bills and don't know how they will make ends meet.

Willie Rennie MSP and Wendy Chamberlain MP are demanding action to help people. The Lib Dems were one of the first to call for energy bills to come down in price.

But instead of supporting people, The SNP Government plans to make things even tougher by hammering households with council tax rises of up to 22%.

Under the plans, over a quarter of households will be hit, and it could cost some up to £835 more.

The SNP said they would abolish Council Tax. Now they want to hike it at the worst possible moment. North East Fife residents deserve better than this. That's why Willie, Wendy and the Lib Dem team are calling on the SNP to scrap these tax increases.
